CBSE Class 12th Result 2026 Release Date, Time Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results 2026 are expected to be announced soon. On Wednesday, CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj told PTI that, as previously indicated, students should receive their results in the third week of May.
Bhardwaj also rejected a media report claiming glitches and delays in the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets under its On-Screen Marking system, asserting that the process is running smoothly and remains on schedule.
After the results are declared by the CBSE board, students can view their marksheets by visiting cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in. Apart from this, the results can also be viewed on DigiLocker and UMANG app. This year, for the first time, the Class 12 paper has been checked on a computer screen, so the results can come quickly.

According to CBSE rules, to pass class 12, students need to get at least 33% marks separately in both theory and practical. If there are less marks than this in any subject, then the student will be considered a fail. However, students who fail in one or two subjects in the CBSE class 12 examination will get a chance to appear in the compartment examination to be held likely in August.
