One salad that is made on a repeat in my home is this kachumber. Kachumber is a simple zero oil salad made with fresh ingredients like cucumber, onion, tomatoes and fresh coriander leaves.

About Kachumber
Kachumber is a simple Indian salad made using healthy vegetables. Vegetables are tossed in lemon juice and seasonings. These salad can be served cold immediately with some rice or rotis. You can serve it roti, curries and yogurt.
Some recipes uses just salad and lemon juice as seasoning for the salad. But I love to add spice powders like cumin powder, chat masala for taste. You can have this salad as it is or on a wrap, sandwich or even as a dip with tortilla chips.
Ingredients like cucumber, onions and tomatoes taste amazing when combined with spices. I love to enjoy it as a side salad with rice.

Ingredients
- Vegetables – I used cucumber, tomatoes, onions for this salad. Make sure to chop it finely.
- Spices – I used roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, chat masala powder, black pepper powder.
- Salt – use salt as per your taste. Chat masala powder has salt in them so make sure to adjust accordingly.
- Green chillies – finely chop chillies before adding. You can adjust as per taste.
- Lemon juice – add extra lemon juice for taste.

Step by Step Pictures
1)Take onions, tomatoes, cucumber, coriander leaves and green chillies in a bowl.

2)Add in all the spice powders, salt.

3)Add in lemon juice to taste.

4)Toss to combine. Serve immediately or store in fridge for few hours for the flavours to mingle.
