Kaun Banega Crorepati 18: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey to promote Ramayana on Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show
Sony TV recently shared a promotional video on its official Instagram handle, featuring the Ramayana cast alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The promo offers a glimpse of the interaction between the actors and the host, with Ranbir asking Amitabh about his memories of Diwali. The conversation takes a humorous turn as the veteran actor recalls how the festival was celebrated during his childhood.
In the video, Ranbir asked Amitabh, “Amit uncle aapki koi Diwali ki yaadein” Responding to the question, Amitabh shared a memory of the friendly competition that accompanied Diwali celebrations in his neighbourhood. He said, “Sir Diwali ki keval yeh he yaad rehti thi ke agar bagal wale ke yaha bomb phata hai, toh hamara bomb usse zyada tez hona chahiye.”
His response brings a light-hearted moment to the promo, offering viewers a glimpse of the conversations expected during the special episode. The appearance will also give the actors an opportunity to discuss Ramayana, its making and their association with the epic story as the makers prepare for the film’s release.
The episode also brings Ranbir and Amitabh together on television following their previous collaboration in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, which was released in 2022. In the film, Ranbir played Shiva, while Amitabh portrayed Guru. Their earlier on-screen association adds another point of interest to their interaction on the quiz show.
With Ranbir, Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey joining Amitabh on the hot seat, the upcoming episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 will combine the show’s quiz format with conversations around the cast’s upcoming mythological project. The special episodes are scheduled to air on Sony TV on October 29 and 30 at 9 pm.
