NMRC is filling nine officer-level vacancies across departments. The positions include Deputy General Manager (Project-Finance), Deputy General Manager (Company Secretary), Deputy General Manager (Operations), Deputy General Manager (Project), and five Assistant Manager roles covering Project Design, Electrical, IT, Property Business, and Human Resources — one vacancy each across all nine posts.
Who Is Eligible To Apply?
Eligibility varies by post. For Deputy General Manager (Project-Finance), candidates must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or Cost and Management Accountant (ICMAI) with at least eight years of experience in finance, accounts, or taxation — including a minimum of three years in metro, railway, railway PSU, or PRTS organisations.
Only government sector experience is considered valid. For Deputy General Manager (Company Secretary), an Associate or Fellow membership of ICSI with at least eight years of experience is required. Detailed eligibility for Assistant Manager posts is available in the official notification.
What Is The Age Limit?
For deputation-based appointments, the maximum age is 56 years. For direct recruitment or absorption, the upper age limit is 45 years — making this one of the few government recruitment drives open to candidates well into their fifties.
How Much Will You Earn?
Deputy General Manager posts carry a salary range of Rs 70,000 to Rs 2,00,000 per month. Assistant Manager posts offer Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000 per month. Candidates currently serving in central or state government, PSUs, railways, or metro organisations must meet IDA or CDA pay scale conditions.
