Nagpur: The Ramtek-Khindsi-Mansar tourism circuit received a fresh push on Saturday as state revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and minister of state (MoS) Ashish Jaiswal inspected a bird park and another recreation centre near Khindsi Lake.Jaiswal said the Ramtek region is being developed with a broader tourism vision linking multiple attractions, which includes Film City, seaplane connectivity and recreation sites, which will keep the footfalls steady. Bawankule said, “The bird park offers an engaging experience with a wide variety of beautiful and rare birds, and the natural surroundings are adding to its appeal as a tourist destination.”Chandrapal Chouksey, director of the projects, said tourism is a key driver of economy and benefits a wide variety of businesses.Jaiswal is aggressively pushing for developing the tourism in Ramtek, for which the seaplane project is moving ahead after getting approval under the Udaan scheme of central govt.
