In the Mumbai market, cotton yarn prices steadied in the last couple of days. Buyers preferred to wait and watch as they do not have a clear outlook after failed talks between the US and Iran. A trader from Mumbai market told Fibre*Fashion, “Global uncertainty prevailed in the cotton yarn trade. Power looms are running with lower production capacity. Fabric demand too remained very limited. Power loom operators have reduced production because of slow buying in fabric segment.”
