Sidharth Malhotra has registered a strong start at the box office with The Vvaan, which has collected Rs. 34.63 crore in its opening weekend. The three-day total has propelled the film to the third-highest opening weekend grosser of Sidharth Malhotra’s career.
The Vvaan has opened behind Sidharth’s two biggest weekend performers Brothers, which collected Rs. 52.08 crore in its opening weekend, and Ek Villain, which opened with Rs. 50.70 crore. With Rs. 34.63 crore, The Vvaan has surpassed the opening weekend numbers of several of his previous releases, including Student Of The Year (Rs. 30 crore), Thank God (Rs. 28.78 crore) and Param Sundari (Rs. 28.48 crore).
At Rs. 34.63 crore, The Vvaan has thus given Sidharth Malhotra his biggest opening weekend in several years and has entered the actor’s top three opening weekend performers, giving the film a solid platform as it enters its first full week at the box office.
