Trisha kept the rest of her look equally traditional.
Her hair was parted down the middle and pulled into a long fishtail braid, which she decorated with white gajra. A few curled strands were left around her face, adding a softer touch to the otherwise neat hairstyle.
Her makeup stayed understated. She appeared to opt for a light skin tint rather than heavy foundation, with muted brown eyeshadow, black kohl and mascara. A hint of peach-pink blush added some colour to her cheeks, while a mauve-pink nude lip kept the overall look subtle.
A small red bindi brought the traditional element together.
For jewellery, Trisha chose kundan jhumkas and a pair of kadas. No statement necklace, no pile of accessories – just enough to complement the saree.
And that restraint worked.
