UK clothing exports fell by 21.79 per cent year-on-year to £226 million (~$292.40 million) in January 2025, reflecting weak European demand.
Full-year 2024 clothing exports dropped 11.74 per cent to £3.32 billion.
Textile fabric exports remained steady, while fibre exports rose to £707 million.
Quarterly data also showed declines, with Q4 2024 clothing exports down from both Q3 2024 and Q4 2023.
