CBSE CTET 2026: According to the official notification, any candidate who wishes to obtain these documents must submit a formal application along with a fee of Rs 500.

Candidates must send their applications to the CTET Unit at the CBSE office in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed candidates who appeared for CTET February 2026 to request a copy of their calculation sheet as well as their OMR sheet. These documents will be provided on payment of a prescribed fee, enabling candidates to verify the marking and better understand their performance.
According to the official notification, any candidate who wishes to obtain these documents must submit a formal application along with a fee of Rs 500. This request has to be made within a fixed time frame, as the last date for applying for calculation sheets and OMR copies is May 1, 2026.
How To Apply
The process to apply has been clearly laid out. Candidates must send their applications to the CTET Unit at the CBSE office in Dwarka, New Delhi. The fee is to be paid through a bank draft drawn in favour of “Secretary, CBSE,” payable at Delhi.
“The candidates should mention their Roll No., Name & Address correctly in their application. The Roll Number & Name should also be mentioned on the backside of the Bank Draft. Theapplication addressed to the Director CTET with bank draft should be sent by speed post or byhand at CTET Unit, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, NewDelhi-110077,” states the official notice.
CBSE has also clarified an important point for those who may have already tried to access these documents earlier. Candidates who have previously applied under the RTI Act for their calculation sheets or OMR copies will still need to reapply using this newly specified procedure if they wish to receive the documents now. Once processed, the calculation sheets and OMR copies will be dispatched to candidates via speed post, bringing the information directly to their doorstep.
However, CBSE has placed strict restrictions on how these documents can be used. The board has clearly stated that calculation sheets and OMR copies are meant solely for the individual candidate’s personal reference. They will not be provided to any institution, school, or media organisation for display, publication, or commercial use. Moreover, applications submitted by third parties on behalf of candidates will not be entertained, ensuring that only genuine requests from the candidates themselves are considered.
CBSE has also mentioned that the final consolidated number of candidates who have qualified in both papers, along with detailed official statistics, will be released in due course.
More than 25 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET 2026 exam, continuing the trend of high participation. Out of these, 17.3 lakh candidates have failed to qualify for the exam and only 5.9 lakh or 25.7% cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
